The idea of developing this tool came in march 2013, after nearly six months of using a Zimbra web site of my company, I have been tired of every morning to start my browser, open the Zimbra web site, and look then every ten minutes to see if I had a new mail.
After one month of development and testing with people of my company, I sent the first version of Zimbra Mail Notifier to be validated by Mozilla.
Today, three browsers are supported and corresponds to the ones I use the most.
